This turquoise upcycled patchwork footstool is made in the desert region of Rajasthan. The skilled patch working is done by women who are supported by a Fair Trade group in Jaipur.
The patchwork is made up from recycled embroideries, including garments. This work brings steady year round employment for these women in the Fair Trade group that employs forty men and women.
It works beautifully as a footrest, low seating, or a decorative accent. The sturdy wooden frame and plush cushion ensure both durability and comfort.
